Micava 418 Specular Gloss Surface High Polymer/Ceramic Composite is highly crosslinked composite coating forming by solvent-free high performance 3.6 phenolic epxoy and excellent anti-corrosion curing agent. Micava 418 can withstand 98% concentration sulfuric acid. Micava 418 has properties of long operating time, good leveling, and high surface gloss, which can use for large area protection. Micava 418 also has properties of excellent resistance to water and outstanding wear resistance, which use to improve pump efficiency, anti-wear, and anti-corrosion .

- Surface Treatment:
Sandblasting the steel surface with chlorine-free abrasive. For external application, the surface should reach SSPC SP-10 standard, close to the white metal treatment standard. After sandblasting the surface, repair surface as soon as possible to prevent surface oxidation, then repair the damaged area properly.
Resin :hardener mixed rate is 4:1 by weight.
Do not dilute.
- Application tools:
Use a plastic spatula, plaster knife, or brush.
- Application temperature:
Material temperature: Keep at 55-95℉ (13-35℃)
Substrate temperature: Keep at 45-105℉(7-40℃)
The temperature difference between the substrate and the coating must not exceed 10℉(5℃)
- Re-coating/curing time:
Recoating in the time when material were still soft, within two hours, at 77ºF (25ºC). If the recoating time has been exceeded, polish the surface with sandpaper, grinding, or blasting. Before immersion application, fully cured in 36 hours at 25 ºC. When heating to force curing, the best performance requires 1 hour at 93 ºC, or 12 hours at 49 ºC.
Wash with methyl ethyl ketone or similar products.
